Product Development Brief

We will send you a list of questions to help understand your vision and budget for the formula. This will help us develop a product that looks and feels exactly the way you want.

Lab Samples

We begin to create lab samples for you to test amongst your team to work towards your final formula.

Ingredient Selection

Based on the product development brief, we will select specific ingredients tailored to the marketing story, function and aesthetics of the product. Once we narrow down a list of key activities and an appropriate base, we will source all raw material samples for your product.

Sample Revision

Our job isn’t complete until you’re completely satisfied. If you’re not satisfied with the first round of samples, we will create new samples based on your feedback.

Final Sample

Once we agree on a final formula, we will send over the final formulation, compliant INCI list, along with all applicable technical documentation.

Our minimums are designed for brands at every stage. Private label starts at 250 units, custom formulation at 500 units, and contract manufacturing at 1,000 units.

How long does product development take?

Timeline varies by project type. Private label products can be ready in 4-6 weeks, while custom formulation typically takes 6-12 weeks.

Are you Health Canada licensed?

Yes. Our facility operates under Health Canada licensing requirements for cosmetic manufacturing.

Can you help with regulatory compliance?

Absolutely. We provide regulatory support for Canadian (Health Canada), US (FDA), and international market requirements.
